Books and Cookies present Play Date in concert!

Every Saturday, Books and Cookies invite children’s musicians and music teachers to play a Kids Concert! Concert sets last about 30 minutes, and are lively, interactive, and fun. The performance takes place in the outdoor Learn and Play area, and afterwards you’ll enjoy 15 minutes of Open Play! This week: Play Date $10/per child (sibling discount - 50% off) All concerts are on a first-come first-serve basis space and weather permitting.

Award-winning, Husband/wife duo Greg Attonito (The Bouncing Souls) and singer/songwriter, Shanti Wintergate are the heart of the kindie music group, Play Date.  The goal of their music is to inspire children to use their imaginations - and their dance moves - to explore the world around them.  Play Date's aptly-named album, Imagination won NAPPA's 2015 "Silver" Award, 2014 Parents' Choice "Fun Suff" Award & Creative Child's 2014 Seal of Excellence Award.  "There's always been a strong sense of self-discovery and independence in good kids' music, and Play Date's album, Imagination, has it all." - Stefan Shepherd, NPR.  Play Date's song "XYZ" was recently featured in a Nordstrom Back to School video called "The AtoZ Life."
